Social-first stills and videos to promote Sambro’s Disney franchise toys across Instagram Reels and TikTok. As Sambro did not previously have a defined social visual style, the project began with establishing one. This included defining how the logo should appear on interfaces, selecting fonts and colours consistent with the brand, and setting guidelines for music, animation styles, and video/product transitions.
Each product encompassed multiple franchises, so it was important to showcase every franchise while using time efficiently in each video. Product selection for Instagram Reels focused on items that performed best on that platform, while TikTok content leaned into ASMR trends, featuring toys that worked well in this context against a simple brand-coloured backdrop.
The project also involved choosing models and locations, developing a clear story sequence for each video, and collaborating closely with the videographer to ensure that the videos remained on brand, showcased the products effectively, and maintained a consistent narrative. Animation styles were explored to reflect the types of products being shown, such as water-based toys or balls, adding playfulness
